Die Hintergrundgeschichte zum Song: For as long as I can remember, I have been scared to do anything. When I was kid, I continuously made my dad carry me or hold my hand whenever I was scared (so practically all the time). So being told by God that he had a plan for me was both exciting and extremely terrifying, and because of the person I always was, I found myself doubting I was good enough and getting scared that I couldn't do it. This song that I wrote shares the repeated conversation I have with my Father in heaven. Me telling him that I'm scared or that I don't know how I'm going to complete the journey he's asked me to make. Then Him telling me, with his arms open wide, that he will my guide and that the dreams in my heart that I desire more than anything are the ones he's helping me to fight for. I know a lot of people probably, like me, don't feel confident or doubt their worthiness of God's calling and this song aims to share that God will always guide us on our vocation (no matter how great or small).
