Die Hintergrundgeschichte zum Song: My song begins back in July 2016 when I was participating in World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland. There was a 'Night of Mercy' for 60,000 English speaking pilgrims which included speakers, music and adoration. I had really started to question my vocation in life and was searching for a deeper relationship with God. Distractions were everywhere, but as soon as the Blessed Sacrament came, I felt such peace. I felt so close to Jesus that night and experienced something so special that led to me truly placing Him at the centre of all I do. My prayer was also answered and later that year in December 2016 I did indeed find my soulmate. Meeting through the Church, our faith and love of Jesus took us through some difficult times and eventually led us to the Vatican in July 2019 where we became engaged. We married in August 2020 during a year of uncertainty and have now been married nearly a year. I thank God everyday for calling me to this vocation and for blessing our marriage.
